In 2022, Carfax Canada, the Canadian leader in vehicle history reports, was largely unknown in Québec and its offering was not well understood. Built on a model primarily geared toward the American market, the brand needed to establish its credibility and relevance in Québec, both with dealers and consumers. Over the past four years, our team has been supporting Carfax in this strategic undertaking. We have designed more than five original campaigns for Québec, a market representing nearly 20% of the national potential.
Our mandate consisted of reconceptualizing Carfax's image in Québec. Specifically, we redesigned the image of the mascot “Car Fox,” which was still largely unknown and overlooked in Québec. The creative concept clearly explained the product's benefits while building trust among both dealers and consumers. B2B and B2C campaigns based on local data were developed to simultaneously address the challenges of network adoption and public understanding.
